Trip Description

Shrewsbury, Shropshire’s county town with it's town centre almost like an island, encircled by a meandering loop of the River Severn. Within its loop are distinctive churches, Shrewsbury Castle, timber-framed houses and a riverside parkland known as the Quarry or Quarry Park.

LLangollen, a small town with a wealth of independent shops to browse. Llangollen is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site along eleven miles of canal from Gledrid to the Horseshoe Falls via the spectacular Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
