Trip Description

Stamford, a bustling market town with a unique blend of history, with niche shopping & stunning architecture, declared a conservation area in 1967. There are over 600 listed buildings of mellow limestone in the town centre including five medieval churches. The town arts centre is made up of an early example of a ‘town assembly room,’ one of the oldest provincial theatres in England, Browne’s Hospital and the 12th century ruins of St Leonard’s Priory.

Baytree Nurseries, a 16 acre retail site for the specialist or beginner when it comes to all things gardening.
