A fantastic 3 day break, visiting the vibrant city of Newcastle, with endless attractions, museums and landmarks to explore. Superb hotel located on the banks of the River Tyne.

Trip Description

Joined together by seven iconic bridges across a busy quayside, Newcastle and Gateshead form a vibrant visitor destination. A city bursting with museums, centuries-old history and some of England’s finest Georgian architecture. A hub for retail shopping, from independent and quirky shops of Grainger Town to the latest big brand names of Eldon Square.

Sunday - Arrive in Newcastle around lunchtime. Free time to explore. Rooms available from 4pm. Evening meal served. Sunday Quayside Market until 4pm. The rest of the evening is free to walk into the city or sample the nightlife.
Tuesday - Free time in Newcastle or you can explore further afield to Durham or Whitley Bay by public transport or train.
Monday - After breakfast depart our hotel. Over lunchtime stop in Thirsk. Opportunity to visit the James Herriot Museum (admission not included).

This is the only hotel in Newcastle which has all of the bedrooms overlooking the River Tyne and from your room you can enjoy the superb views over the river.
