Trip Description

A morning stop at Moreton-in-Marsh, a thriving market town dating back 1000 years to the Saxon era, its broad High Street is lined with elegant 17th and 18th Century buildings. 

Afternoon visit to Batsford Arboretum - a place for all seasons. A 56 acre arboretum, situated in the heart of the Cotswolds and former home to the famous Mitford family. A riot of autumn colours, from flame reds to salmon pinks to yellows to purples and golds. A great time of year to enjoy a stroll through the tree collection.
Cafe, gift and garden shops on site.

PLEASE NOTE: The Arboretum is planted on a south facing slope and some parts may be more challenging to those less able visitors.
