Trip Description

The Castle has been through an immense journey over the centuries. The oldest parts, including the Chapel, date back to 1427, making the building almost 100 years older than Hampton Court Palace. Over the years with various transformations, the Castle is now fully restored.
With lots to explore in the vast gardens, wander through the Ornamental Kitchen Garden, maze, Dutch Garden, Rose Garden, Sunken Garden and view the water features and herbaceous borders.
In May, the 150 year old Wisteria Arch (weather permitting) takes you from the Formal Gardens onto the South Lawns. Beyond this is the Ornagery Cafe where you can stop for refreshments.

On site there is a Gift Shop and childrens play area.
Price includes admission to The Castle and Gardens.
There will be a morning stop in Worcester.
