Barnsdale Gardens, created by Geoffrey Hamilton, a firm believer and pioneer in organic gardening, with peat free and chemical free growing techniques, which still continues today.

Trip Description

Barnsdale Gardens has the largest collection of individually designed gardens in the country. There are 38 gardens within 8 acres of land, with useful tips for your own garden however big or small it maybe.
Some of the gardens included are: Penstemon & Hosta, Memorial Garden, Rose Garden, Herb Garden, Parterre, Cottage Garden, First Time Garden to name but a few......

Stamford is a bustling, prosperous, market town with a unique blend of history, with niche shopping & stunning architecture. There are over 600 listed buildings of mellow limestone in the town centre including five medieval churches.
