Llandudno

North Wales

Days -

Llandudno, a seaside town in North Wales, with a 19th-century pier and a variety of shops.

Trip Description

Llandudno’s elegant promenade and seafront architecture has remained largely unchanged for over a century. It was a popular place for the Victorians to visit. Stroll down the pier (the longest in Wales), see a Punch and Judy Show, there are donkey rides on the beach and canopied shopping streets just behind the promenade.

The cliffs of the Great Orme headland jut into the sea and a tram dating from 1902 travels to the headland’s summit.
